The Pendant
Why Buffalo Bone?
Stronger than plastic, more sustainable than metal—buffalo and cow bone give new life to waste while creating durable, lightweight, and naturally beautiful pieces. Each one has a smooth, organic texture that gets even better with time. Plus, no two pieces are ever the same, making every design truly one ofakind.
The Cord
Why Hand Woven Cord?
Soft, durable, and made to last—our handwoven cords are crafted by village mothers. Designed for all-day comfort, they’re lightweight, strong, and available in a variety of colors to match any style. Just a perfect fit, every time.
Trash or Treasure?
At WASANA, we don’t see waste—we see potential. Upcycled bone isn’t just a material—it’s our way of honoring nature. We take what’s left behind, and through tradition and artistry, we turn it into something that matters.
More than just accessories, our designs carry deep stories, purpose, connecting the wearer to something personal.
How It's Made
On sourcing our materials:
We don’t kill animals just to use their bones. All of our materials come from waste bones—leftovers that are no longer suitable for human consumption. We give new life to what would otherwise be thrown away.
On our process:
We keep things as natural as possible. The only chemical we use is a mild detergent—just enough to clean off any remaining meat, fat, or marrow from the bones, and to make sure they don’t smell before we turn them into beautiful handcrafted pieces.
